It really is laughable when you compare these EA titles to something like Fallout 4 or Witcher 3 that often retail either for the same price or less in some cases. At some point somebody over at EA got the idea into their heads that people would pay top £ for bare bones content and ever since then I've been noticing a degradation in the quality of a lot of their games. EA games in general seem to be very overpriced for the amount of content you're actually getting these days.

In TS5, are we going to get just the YA stage and have to buy the other life stages? Will sims only say "Sul Sul" until EP 5 where they can have a full on conversation? If that does happen, blame these guys they just make it harder to change this model. But those who know that EA could do a hella better and still buy the DLC. If players like the game and are happy with this stripped down overpriced content-then they obviously won't think that the content is either stripped down or overpriced and its a fair transaction and a good business model. The players who aren't crazy about this game, but feel they must have all of the content: it's 100% their fault. That said keeping it on topic I still choose GT over GTW. Now who's at fault for that exactly, I have no idea. I do genuinely think they could do better than what they have been, but they just don't. I don't know, just feels like 2/2 times they've skimmed on the content they could add and then didn't even execute the final product as well as they could have. I don't find Sims 4 expansion packs have had 40 dollars worth of "base game content". I can't stop wondering what in a sims 4 expansion pack is worth 40 dollars when a base game cost 70 60 bucks (though you better believe I got the base game on sell too). I don't even need to compare it to an entirely different game though. This is what I've been feeling in general, which is why I only purchase packs on sell. I far prefer comparing Get Together with Fallout 4 and wondering if the $40 price tag vs the $60 price tag is really is mind boggling as I think it is compared to what is in the games.
New objects, new careers, new world, new social interactions, new group system (awful group system in Sims 3). You know, I could see comparing GT with Sims 3 University.
